The lady was created during the "Cybergirl" course here at CGSociety a little while back and I finally got around to putting her into a scene. There's a lot of "firsts" in this one: first time painting hair, first time using Brazil, first time working with ZBrush's texturing, etc.
The image was created mostly capture a point in Toma's (the lady) life. Her tattoo is a right of passage for her and represents her history and rank as a gaurdian.
